The Quirky Cook's Traditional Piccalilli is an award-winning product, achieving a Great Taste Award 2016 - organised by the Guild of Fine Food and acknowledged as the benchmark for fine food and drink. To add to that accolade, it has also been described by Marco Pierre White as "beautiful, with respect". Worthy testaments to a successful recipe that took almost two years to perfect.....
In 2015 the Quirky Cook began experimenting with Black Garlic, an artisan product organically grown by the award-winning South West Garlic Farm in Dorset. This resulted in the creation of several innovative recipes for chutneys and relishes, offering a unique sensory experience.
The first product to be launched in March 2016 was Onion & Apple Chutney with Black Garlic. This was quickly followed by a Caramelised Onion Relish with Black Garlic and a Tomato & Chilli Relish with Black Garlic.
